HOPE CREATIONS

On January 3, 2012 a small group of women gathered around a fire and a crude wooden table in a rural Ghanaian village to make batik. In the days and months to come, that program would become Premec Creations, a vocational training center for impoverished women. Martha Bulley, a seamstress and single mother, had dreamed for years of how to provide empowerment and hope to women suffering from lack of resources and opportunities. Her dream inspired Amy Hubble and Chelsea Jones to join in, and Premec Creations was born.

Premec Creations continues to train women, from many areas of Ghana, in various skills: batik fabric, soap, pomade, bead arrangement, hair dressing, and sewing.
